Garments to buy.....

Narrow (skinny) pants - if you are intending to use anyof the long line knits, jackets and tunics the important garment to team these with is narrow pants or tights and boots.

The general rule of dressing is: wear long tops with narrow or short below, or shorter tops/jackets/knits with fuller (skirts, trouser e.g. flares) or long below.

Wear narrow trousers tucked into boots, or high heels to give that long line slender silhouette.

Wear wide leg pants with lace up brogues, patent leather in a chunky heel, platform or pointed toe.

Tunics and sleeve less tops are flattering on the bodyline because they create a panel through the bodyline, especially when wearing with contrasting top underneath.

Skirt lengths:

Short and midi lengths are here for the winter - shows off fancy tights and fab shoes/boots

Wear flat or low heels with lengths above and on the knee skirts

Wear medium high heel with midi length skirt

Wear high heel with long skirts - unless you are very tall you will look frumpy wearing a low heel with length of skirt

Shoes:

Some heights of high fashion shoes and boots are positively dangereous this season! These can be seen in high polished patent leather and colourful yellow, hot pink, blue and red.

However for the more practical there are lots of low-medium heels to choose from.

Platforms are always great for adding those extra inches for the not so tall. Great for the look as well as your comfort.

Colour gives you the 'wow' factor

Colour worn close to your face makes you postively glow.

This season you will see lots of black, charcoal and grey. Which for the classic dressers you will be in heaven!

This season you will need to be creative with where you buy your colours. The chains stores as usual will have their own fashion theme which seems to be rashberry red, purple, plum, fushia and emerald green; which is great for the 'cool' skintone people, and there is also some Autumn colours around, however for the spring like myself we have to be in earnest to find our colour this season.  You will find them in the more creative stores, and the use of a scarf sometimes will jazz up your otherwise neutral outfit.

Creating your 'look' this season - themes you will find in the shops for your personality.......
